Starting A New Game

To start a new game, choose New Game from the File menu. You will see the New Game dialog box (see below).

Type a name in the Player One text field. This will be the name of a human player.

From the Player Two popup menu, choose either Human or one of the computer opponents. The computer opponents are ordered from easiest to hardest. If you choose Human, enter a name into the Player Two text field.

Note that only four of the seven computer opponents are available if Boka Battleships is unlicensed. See Purchasing Boka Battleships.

There are two rules which can be varied using the Game Play popup menus. The first popup menu allows you to choose the standard One Shot Per Turn rule or the Shoot Until Miss variation. The second popup menu allows you to choose the Boka Fleet as used in early versions of Boka Battleships, or the more traditional Classic Fleet.

When completed, click OK.
